Gesture of Becoming

The space is in set-up mode – raw, alive, hovering between chaos and composition. Decisions that usually stay hidden are now visible; the unfinished becomes part of the form, and the act of creating itself is part of the exhibition. Since its founding in 2023, FORMA Gallery has followed nomadic paths. Its new, permanent location in Berlin Mitte offers a dedicated space for contemporary spatial design and curatorial practice, where the arrangement of objects and the crafting of experience come together. This exhibition reflects the move-in character of the space: it reveals the process of setting up, the not-yet-fixed, and the tension between material, space, and ideas – the making visible of what usually remains behind the scenes.
